Special Category Data (Religion)

If you choose to provide your religion, you must give explicit consent.

You may withdraw this consent at any time via:

Settings → Privacy → Withdraw Religion Consent.

Upon withdrawal, we immediately stop processing your religion.

Premium Subscription

Premium costs £2.99/month and grants additional features such as:

• 10 new opens every day (resets at 00:00 UTC, instead of 1 per day for Free users)
• Up to 1000 active conversations at any one time (effectively unlimited)
• Global matching (match anywhere in the world)
• 5-day anonymous chat (same as Free - connection before attraction)
• Send offers to Free users
• Premium visibility controls

Important: Active Conversations and Daily Opens

Premium users can have up to 1000 active conversations at any one time (effectively unlimited for practical purposes). You receive 10 new opens every day (resets at 00:00 UTC). The 10 daily opens allow you to initiate up to 10 new matches per day.

Free users can have up to 1000 active conversations at any one time, but receive only 1 new open per day (resets at 00:00 UTC).

Auto-renewal

Premium is £2.99/month and auto-renews monthly unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Manage Subscription.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Your Premium benefits continue until the end of the billing period.

Refund Policy

Premium is non-refundable once activated. Because Premium grants instant access to digital features (global matching, 10 daily opens, etc.), all sales are final.

This is standard for digital services and complies with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. By upgrading to Premium, you agree to instant access and waive your statutory 14-day cooling-off period.

What this means:

• No refunds or partial refunds for Premium subscriptions
• You can cancel anytime, but you won't receive a refund for the current billing period
• Premium benefits continue until the end of your paid period after cancellation
• Future renewals are cancelled immediately when you cancel

Behaviour & Safety Rules

To protect users, the following are prohibited before reveal:

• Sharing phone numbers
• Sharing emails
• Sharing social media
• Sharing any identifying information

Other unacceptable behaviour:

• Harassment, threats, discrimination
• Explicit sexual content
• Impersonation
• Scamming or fraudulent behaviour

Breaches may result in suspension or termination.

Matching, Reveal & Contact Exchange

Matches may take time depending on availability.

Free users receive one match request per day; Premium users receive faster matching and more opens.

Repeat Matches: You may match with the same person more than once, especially during early stages when user numbers are low. This ensures you can always find matches and have conversations. Once the user base grows, we may implement preferences to prioritize new matches over repeat matches.

Automatic Profile Reveal: After 5 days of anonymous chatting, your profiles (first name, age, city, and photos) will automatically be revealed to each other. This reveal is automatic and cannot be prevented. If you do not wish for your profile to be revealed, you must end the chat before the 5-day deadline.

Ending Chats: You may end a chat at any time before the 5-day reveal deadline. Once ended, the chat is closed and profiles are not revealed. If you continue chatting until Day 5, the automatic reveal will occur.

Contact exchange happens only when both users agree.

We do not guarantee a match, a relationship, or compatibility.

Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

We do not store card details.

All payment data is subject to Stripe's own policies.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability (receive your data in a portable format)
• Withdraw consent (e.g., for religion data) at any time

Data Retention

We retain your data for the following periods:

• Account data and messages: Until you delete your account or 24 months of inactivity
• Payment records: Up to 6 years (for legal and tax purposes)
• Abuse reports and safety logs: 24 months
• System logs: Up to 12 months

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes (e.g., payment records).

Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication and security. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, including but not limited to:

• Providing false information (especially regarding age)
• Violating our Behaviour & Safety Rules
• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour
• Fraudulent activity or scamming
• Sharing contact information before the 5-day reveal

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Data Retention policy.

Disputes & Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes may be resolved through the courts of England and Wales.
